Pink Basis Shoe Review – Aguila Black

Welcome to late August in New England!

That means that next month starts the fall season, and I am beyond excited! Cool nights, warmer days, apple picking, and leggings with boots (not Ugg!).

Fall has the best fashion.  It is cool enough to have a sweater, and leggings tucked into a pair of sexy boots, scarves, capes and all of the different kinds of denim cuts.

This month when I was picking my shoes from PinkBasis I thought about how fall is coming and that I need a really nice pair of boots to go with leggings and a tunic.  This is when I found Agulia

When I first saw these boots, I thought they were a little hardcore; with the fringe and the buckles, but I am so glad I chose these boots.

Aguila has a 4.5″ very thin stiletto, with no platform.

One of my favorite aspects of these shoes are the fact that they’re made out of denim. I am used to shoes made out of man made material (faux leather), leather, suede, faux suede, etc.

These boots are very easy to put on. They have a zipper on the inside sole, therefore you don’t have to buckle them or tie them every time you take them off or put them on.

On a comfort scale, I give them an 8 our of 10.  They do not have a platform so there is more pressure on the balls of the feet than shoes with a platform, however, I was able to work for about 3h straight in these stilettos, and I work retail so I am constantly walking and on my feet.

From a style perspective I think these boots are very easy to style.

I decided to pair Aguila with a pair of stirrup leggings, and a military green blazer, beige tank and a few gold bangles.  It was a very simple look and a lot of my customers complimented my gorgeous shoes.

Make sure you get your own pair of Aguila before they sell out!  You can get your own pair HERE!
